School Uniform & Dress Code

A fact which is often overlooked is that school discipline is, in itself, educational. Neatness, personal tidiness, correct speech, good manners and punctuality demanded of our child/ren now will assist in their future. Children gain from discipline and are encouraged to present themselves to all they meet as neat, tidy, courteous, well-spoken and respectful people.

At St Ita's School we have a standard of dress of which the members of our school community can be justifiably proud.

Our uniform is available for purchase from the Beleza Uniform Shop located in Warragul.

Summer Uniform

Winter Uniform
    • A St Ita's School bag is a compulsory school uniform item.
    • Shoulder length hair, or longer, needs to be tied back neatly using our school colours: red, white or blue.
    • Please label all uniform items and check monthly that the labels can still be read easily. Named items that are handed in at the office will be returned to their owner.
    • The Lost Property cupboard is located in the foyer of the Administration Office and at the end of term, unclaimed and unnamed items will be donated to St Vincent de Paul. 
    • Please enquire at the Administration Office for any second-hand uniform items that may be available to purchase for a gold coin donation.
    • If for any special reason your child is unable to be in full uniform please send a note to the class teacher.

    • Royal blue polo shirt with school logo
    • Grey shorts or trousers
    • School jumper – Royal blue windcheater with school logo

    • Black school shoes with no visible logo
    • Royal Blue sun smart school hat with school logo (Terms 1 & 4)
    • Winter - optional royal blue beanie with school logo, navy blue rain jacket/ vest with school logo

    • Red and white check summer dress with white collar
    • School jumper – Royal blue windcheater with school logo
    • White socks (not low cut)
    • Black school shoes with no visible logo
    • Royal blue sun smart school hat with School Logo (Terms 1 & 4)

    • Grey shorts or trousers

    Winter

    • Tartan pinafore/skirt (Grades 3-6 only, do not have to wear the bib of the pinafore)

    • Navy blue knee high socks / tights
    • Black school shoes with no visible logo
    • Grey shorts
    • Optional - Tailored navy blue school pants may be worn on days of extreme cold

    Sports Uniform

    The Sports uniform including sneakers is to be worn one day each week when your child's class will participate in a Physical Education (P.E) lesson. At the start of each school year, the class teacher will advise which day is your child's P.E lesson day. At various times throughout the year, the class teacher will also advise of any other sport day or excursion where the wearing of the sport uniform may also be preferred.
