Principal's Message

I wish to extend a warm welcome to your family on behalf of St. Ita’s learning community. I look forward to working in partnership with you on the educational journey of your child.

Andrew Osler, Principal principals message

At St. Ita’s we believe that children learn best when they are active participants in their own learning. We are a school that caters for individual differences and our curriculum is developed so that children are taught to their point of need and to achieve their personal best.

The St. Ita’s school community is a friendly, welcoming place where your child will be nurtured to reach full potential through a curriculum that is personalised and stimulating. We aim to develop the attitudes and skills which will equip our children to participate fully in the world of the 21st Century.  We sustain a strong commitment to the core values of forgiveness, compassion and respect and are committed to fostering a healthy sense of wellbeing in all our students.

The St. Ita’s staff provide a strong and successful learning foundation for each of our students. We have innovative educational opportunities and high expectations of our students and their achievement levels.

Our parent community is closely involved with school activities. Parents make a valued contribution to our school through such things as parent helper programs, the School Advisory Board and Parents and Friends Association.

Being principal at St. Ita’s is a privilege and I take great pleasure in working with teachers and students to actively pursue an innovative teaching and learning environment where child centred outcomes cater for the needs of all children in a collaborative learning environment.

I hope this website will address any questions in relation to St. Ita’s. If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact me. The staff and I look forward to welcoming you to St Ita’s School Community.

Andrew Osler,

Principal
