ご卒業  おめでとう！

GO-SO-TSU-GYO-U  O-ME-DE-TO-U!

SOTSUGYOU means “GRADUATION” and OMEDETOU is  “CONGRATULATIONS” in English.

On Thursday 8th December Grade 6 students enjoyed a Japanese lunch in the staff room to celebrate their graduation. Sushi Bingo was a thrilling start to the session with prizes for everyone. Jack Carboneau won the Jan Ken Kai (Rock Scissors Paper Competition) and won a Sushi Making Kit. Students had a go at using chopsticks after watching a funny instructional video. From all accounts everyone loved the sushi, although Riley Davidson was surprised to find out how hot WASABI is!

SCHOOL DISCO

Last week we held our school disco and we were fortunate enough to get local legend DJ CB (Cooper Bills) who turned out some ripping tunes and beats, mustering up some serious heat on the dance floor. No one rocks it like DJ CB. And even better he’s booked us in for next year. Thanks for a job really well done Coop.

SUMMER CAMILLERI

Summer is representing the school once again over the next three days. Competing at Boneo in several events. We would like to wish Summer all the best in her events this week, riding for St Ita's.
