ART CLUB
That Art club is well on its way and the art is looking fabulous.
As it was NAIDOC week in the holidays, all classes have been learning about our Indigenous culture, this follows on and continues with our weaving art. We are yarn bombing the tree outside the art room. We have been focusing on our fine motor skills, do we have more control over our pencils and where we want them to draw on the page.
The students have been really enjoying all the learning about our First Nations and some of the Art that has been created by indigenous people. Ask your child what they have learnt about so far.
Soon we will be starting to learn about clay and the process of creating with it.
I really hope your child is enjoying our creative space.
Below is a picture of some of the students from Art club with their canvas all ready to gesso.
