Principal's Message
CONCERT SUCCESS
Well done to all our students, staff and parent helpers for presenting such a successful concert last night. The excitement seen in our children yesterday and last night was something very special and shows the importance of giving our kids time to shine in front of the people who love them.
A a big shout out to Mrs Monique Kizenberg and her mother Jenny Adrichem for taking on the roles of developing and supporting our school concert and bringing it all together in such an amazing way. It was a great example of teamwork at its best. The effort from our teachers was terrific and I know our kids appreciate the effort that they put in which is over and above.
The parent feedback last night was wonderful and it’s a great way to showcase the arts in our school. It was a great day for the St Ita’s community getting the concert back up and going again. A super effort by all involved.
The concert performance has been recorded and once the editing is complete, it will be available for families to purchase. This will delivered via USBs.
FOUNDATION SIBLING ENROLMENTS BEGIN
Important message to all our current families who have sibling enrolments starting in 2025. Please ensure you contact administration and make a booking for an interview. These will take place over the next 3 weeks.
SCHOOL START & FINISH TIMES
A reminder that our school start time each day is 8.50 am. The most important part of any student’s day is the first 15 minutes when instructions and directions for the day are given to kids. Please endeavour to have your children at school by 8.50am so that they are not missing important instructions about the upcoming day.
The St Ita’s school day ends at 3.20pm and students need to be picked up by 3.45 pm. If families find that they will be late for after-school collection, we ask that you ensure your child is enrolled with the Camp Australia Program so that you can call and request that they be accepted into after-school care until you can collect them.
Under the EBA Award teachers attend Professional Development sessions on Monday and Wednesday from 3.45 pm - 4.45pm, and on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday they finish at 3.40pm.
