OUR FIRST SEMESTER COMPLETED

Our first semester is done and dusted; it seems to have passed in the blink of an eye. So much has happened during our first semester and every student's academic, social, and emotional growth is evident.

After a very challenging first term, we went into the second term with a strengthened focus on student-centered learning and I commend our great staff on their efforts. The teaching of all our kids is a collaborative partnership between staff and parents. We aim to create a learning environment that promotes the growth and safety of all our students.

At times this semester it’s has been a hard road to plough, but we have worked together through the obstacles placed before us. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone in our wonderful school community who have worked with us through these tough and challenging times.

I hope everyone has the opportunity to experience a safe, restful break and I look forward to seeing everyone back with us in the second semester.

NAPLAN STUDENT RESULTS AVAILABLE FROM THE START OF TERM 3

NAPLAN is an annual assessment for students in Years 3, 5, 7, and 9 and the only national literacy and numeracy assessment all Australian students have the opportunity to undertake.

Parents and carers of students who participated in this year’s NAPLAN assessment in March will soon receive an individual student report (ISR) of their child’s results.

NEW SCHOOL BUILD

The blockwork and roofing have now been finished on the new build and the works have now moved to the internal fit-out. According to “Ben the Builder” we are on track for completion in October.

The new building will be a great addition to our school, and our architect James has given me a basic floor plan to share with our community. It looks amazing and will be a great new space for our grade 1-2 students.
