LEVI CAMILLERI

Grade 4 student, Levi CamilIeri, has been growing his hair for the past three years for a very good cause though, over the Easter break he lopped off his lovely long locks to support the charity “Wigs 4 Kids”. 

The foundation Wigs 4 Kids helps to support families whose children are in need of wigs due to a variety of different illnesses. Levi had a target of raising $1500, which is the cost of one wig. Amazingly, he exceeded his goal and raised $1740.

I asked Levi what motivated him to support this foundation, and his reply was so beautiful and caring “The feeling of being able to help other kids feel normal made me feel really good. I am focusing on doing it all again.”

This is a great example of our whole school's approach to positive behaviours. The St Ita’s community is really proud of your efforts Levi. Well done to you!
